Final Statement of the Fifth Conference of the Sunni Association in Iraq

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the leader of the messengers and the imam of the righteous, Muhammad son of Abdullah, his family, his companions, and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgment. Afterward, by the grace of Allah and His guidance, the general assembly of the Sunni Association in Iraq convened in its fifth conference, resulting in the following resolutions:

Approval of the internal regulations.

Election of the Shura Council.

Naming of the Scientific Council.

Appointment of the Executive Management.

The Association adopts the following projects:

Preparation of scientific cadres, especially in preaching and Sharia.

Sending students to complete their studies in various specializations.

Writing a scientific curriculum to guide the Islamic awakening.

Activating the call to Islam and caring for preachers.

Encouraging relief and humanitarian work to alleviate the suffering of displaced people.

Adopting endowments and investments to support preaching and charitable projects.

The Scientific Council also reached an agreement with the Binaa Academy, recognizing the Association as the sole entity for nominating candidates in the program for preparing preachers and scholars of Iraq.

Conference Recommendations:

Adopting workshop recommendations as work programs.

Confronting destructive projects, including the Safavid project.

Addressing the phenomenon of extremism, which contributed to the spread of chaos and threatened civil peace in Sunni areas.

Calling upon the Sunnis to hold fast to the rope of Allah, remain steadfast in their religion, unite their word, unify their ranks, preserve their identity, and be patient until Allah's victory comes, for He is the Mighty, the Majestic.

Calling upon the Sunnis to forgive and reconcile among themselves.

On this occasion, the Association extends its invitation to all scholars, students of knowledge, and preachers who adhere to its methodology to join it in unifying the word, uniting the ranks, and cooperating and integrating with others.

O Living, O Sustaining, by Your mercy we seek relief, correct all our affairs, and do not leave us to our own devices even for the blink of an eye. Unite our hearts and unify our words upon truth and guidance, and guide all Sunnis in Iraq and everywhere as leaders and supporters. And may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions, and grant them peace abundantly.
