In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

Blessed seal

Praise be to God, the Mighty, the Wise, and may blessings and peace be upon the Noble Prophet and his family. All his followers, as for what follows:

The Qur’an is the Wise Book (those are the verses of the Wise Book), and the spirit and life: (And thus have We revealed to you a spirit of Our command) In the Sahih, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: [And indeed, he who does not have in his belly any of the Qur’an Like a ruined house.

It was one of the established and well-known Sunnahs to complete the Book of God Almighty, by reciting, studying, and reciting. The predecessors of the nation used to recite the Qur’an a lot. Some of them completed it in a month, some in ten, many of them in seven or less, some of them completed in three, and those who were able to complete it. In two nights, and a group of them used to complete it in one night, and this was reported with frequent transmission from them, may God be pleased with them.

Al-Nawawi said (Al-Adhkar: 120): As for those who completed the Qur’an in one rak’ah: they cannot be counted; Because of their large number, some of them are: Othman bin Affan, Tamim Al-Dari, and Saeed bin Jubair. Ah

Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali said (Lataif al-Ma’arif: 171): Qatada always used to recite a seal every seven days, and in Ramadan every third, and in the last ten nights every night. Al-Shafi’i had sixty seals in Ramadan that he recited outside of prayer, and on the authority of Abu Hanifa and the like.

Al-Bayhaqi narrated (Shu’ab al-Iman: 5/147) on the authority of Ibn Wahb: It was said to Malik: A man in quarantine completes the Qur’an in one night? He said: How good that is, for the Qur’an is a guide to all that is good. Malik said: Someone who was praying next to Omar bin Hussein - Al-Jumahi Al-Tabi’i - told me in Ramadan, he said: I used to hear him reciting the Qur’an every night.

Al-Aswad used to complete the Qur’an in two nights, and Abu Dawud narrated with its authentic chain of transmission that Mujahid used to complete the Qur’an between Maghrib and Isha, and on the authority of Ibrahim bin Saad, he said: My father used to perform the ritual pilgrimage, so he would not stop wearing it until he completed the Qur’an.

And in Al-Siyar by Al-Dhahabi (9/204): Waki’ bin Al-Jarrah would not sleep until he had recited his portion of each night (a third of the Qur’an), then he would get up at the end of the night and recite Al-Mufassal, then sit and begin to ask for forgiveness until dawn came. Ah Al-Mufassal: from the rooms or Q to another. The Quran.

In it (9/179) Yahya bin Ma’in said: Yahya bin Saeed Al-Qattan - the famous hadith scholar - resided for twenty years, completing his prayers every night.

In the translation of Mansour bin Zazan Sheikh Wasit, he has knowledge and work that facilitates reading the Qur’an. Ibn Saad said: He was very trustworthy, he read quickly, he wanted to write but he could not, and he used to complete his prayers in the forenoon. Yazid bin Harun said: Mansour used to recite the entire Qur’an in the Duha prayer, and he completed it twice a day, and his turban was wet with tears from his eyes. Hushaym said: If Mansour had been told: The Angel of Death is at the door, he would not have done any more work and would have prayed from sunrise to afternoon and then prayed the tasbih until sunset.

Al-Nawawi said (Al-Tibyan: 38): The choice is that this differs according to the different people, so whoever appears to him with precise thought to be a scholar and knowledgeable person, let him limit himself to the extent that he achieves complete understanding of what he reads. Likewise, whoever is busy spreading knowledge or other matters of religion and the general interests of Muslims, let him limit himself to what he reads. An amount that does not cause any disruption to what is being monitored for, and if he is not one of those mentioned, then let him do as much as he can without going out to the point of boredom and nonsense.

Oh God, whose grace has bestowed upon us, who has overwhelmed us with His grace, and whose benevolence has intensified, we ask you to make us among the people of the Qur’an who are your family and your special ones. Praise be to God greatly, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family. All his followers.
